Cheese Filled Easter Polish Bread Recipe
This is a traditional Polish Easter bread filled with cheese, perfect for celebrating the holiday.

Dough
- 4 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Milk warm
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 2 teaspoon Salt
- 2 tablespoon Butter melted
- 1 packet Active dry yeast
Cheese Filling
- 2 cups Ricotta cheese
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 large Egg beaten
In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 10 minutes until frothy.
Add flour, salt, and melted butter to the yeast mixture. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
In a separate bowl, mix ricotta cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and beaten egg for the filling.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out the dough and spread the cheese filling evenly over it.
Roll the dough into a log and place it on a baking sheet. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
Let the bread cool before slicing and serving.
