Waffle Iron Cornbread Recipe
A fun twist on traditional cornbread, made using a waffle iron.

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Cornmeal
 - 1 cup All-purpose flour
 - ¼ cup Sugar
 - 1 tablespoon Baking powder
 - ½ teaspoon Salt
 - 1 cup Milk
 - ¼ cup Vegetable oil
 - 1  Egg beaten
 
 
Preheat your waffle iron.
In a large bowl, mix together the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, and beaten egg.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Lightly grease the waffle iron and pour in the batter. Cook until golden brown and crisp.
Serve warm with butter and syrup, if desired.
