  • 2 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter cold and cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon Vinegar
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 2-4 tablespoon Ice water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
  2. 2. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. 3. Mix vinegar and beaten egg together. Add to the flour mixture.
  4. 4. Gradually add ice water, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together.
  5. 5. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before using.
