Ingredients 

Bread Dough

  • 4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Active dry yeast
  • 1 ½ cups Warm water
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil

Topping

  • ½ cup Rice flour
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Warm water
  • 2 teaspoon Active dry yeast

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast for the bread dough.
  2. 2. Add warm water and vegetable oil, mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. 5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. 6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a roll and place on a baking sheet.
  7. 7. For the topping, mix rice flour, sugar, salt, warm water, and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  8. 8. Spread the topping mixture over each roll.
  9. 9. Bake for 25 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and the topping is crackled.
  10. 10. Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
