Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Mashed taro
  • ½ cup Milk warm
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoon Active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoon Butter softened

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. 2. Add mashed taro, flour, salt, and softened butter to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. 5. Punch down the dough, divide it into 8 equal pieces, and shape into rolls.
  6. 6. Place the rolls on a baking tray, cover, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. 7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
