  • 3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 ¼ teaspoon active dry yeast

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, salt, and active dry yeast.
  2. 2. In a saucepan, warm the milk and honey until the honey is dissolved. Let it cool to lukewarm.
  3. 3. Add the milk mixture and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. 4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  5. 5. Place the dough in a greased loaf pan. Cover and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  6. 6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the bread for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
