- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoon yeast
- 3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup butter, softened
In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until frothy.
Add flour, salt, egg, and butter. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 12 pieces. Shape into rolls and place on a baking sheet.
Let the rolls rise again until doubled, then bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
