4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
6. Punch down the dough and divide it into three equal parts. Roll each part into a long rope.
7. Braid the three ropes together and place the braid on a greased baking sheet.
8. Cover and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
9. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the bread for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
10. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
