Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 1 cup Strawberries, chopped
  • 0.5 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.25 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
