  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese Cheddar or your choice
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1 packet Active dry yeast
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  3. 3. Add flour, salt, red pepper flakes, olive oil, and shredded cheese to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. 4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. 5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. 6. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it on a greased baking sheet.
  7. 7. Bake for 30 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  8. 8. Let it cool on a wire rack before slicing. Enjoy!
