Biscuit Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoon unsalted butter cold, cut into small pieces
- ¾ cup milk
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Gradually add the milk, stirring until the dough comes together.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently 8-10 times.
Roll out the dough to about ½-inch thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter.
Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
