  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Cold butter cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup Sourdough starter discard or active
  • ½ cup Milk

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the sourdough starter and milk until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  6. Pat the dough to about ½ inch thickness and cut out biscuits.
  7. Place biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
