Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g All-purpose flour
  • 300 g Water lukewarm
  • 100 g Sourdough starter active
  • 10 g Salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and water. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Add the sourdough starter and salt to the mixture. Mix well.
  3. 3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  4. 4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 4-6 hours.
  5. 5. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a Dutch oven inside to heat up.
  6. 6. Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it in the preheated Dutch oven.
  7. 7. Bake for 30 minutes with the lid on, then remove the lid and bake for another 15 minutes.
  8. 8. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
