- 4 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 packet Active dry yeast
- 1.5 cups Warm water
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
5. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). Punch down the dough and spread it onto a greased baking sheet.
6. Add your favorite toppings and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
