Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup Oats
  • ½ cup Rye Flour
  • ½ cup Cornmeal
  • ½ cup Barley Flour
  • ½ cup Millet Flour
  • ½ cup Brown Rice Flour
  • 2 ¼ teaspoon Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 ½ cups Warm Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, oats, rye flour, cornmeal, barley flour, millet flour, and brown rice flour.
  2. 2. Add the active dry yeast and salt to the flour mixture and stir to combine.
  3. 3. In a separate bowl, mix the honey, olive oil, and warm water until the honey is dissolved.
  4. 4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  5. 5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  6. 6. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  7. 7. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  8. 8. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it in a greased loaf pan.
  9. 9. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  10. 10. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack before slicing.
