Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1.5 cups warm water
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
  2. Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  6. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape each into an oval.
  7. Place the dough pieces on a baking sheet and let them rise for another 20 minutes.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
