  • 1 cup Cornmeal
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Cold butter cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh sage chopped
  • ¾ cup Milk

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the cheddar cheese and chopped sage.
  5. Add the milk and stir until just combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
