  • 4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Romano cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Active dry yeast
  • 1 cup Warm water 110°F
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 Eggs beaten

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, Romano cheese, sugar, and salt.
  2. 2. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  3. 3. Add the yeast mixture, olive oil, and beaten eggs to the flour mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
  4. 4. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  5. 5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.
  6. 6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. 7. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it on a greased baking sheet.
  8. 8. Bake for 30 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
