Main Ingredients
- 1 package active dry yeast
- ¼ cup warm water
- 1 cup milk scalded and cooled
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup butter melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs beaten
- 4 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1. Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large mixing bowl.
2. Stir in milk, sugar, melted butter, salt, and beaten eggs.
3. Add flour and mix until smooth. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 3 days.
4. When ready to bake, shape dough into rolls and place on a greased baking sheet. Let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake rolls for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
