Ingredients 

Dough

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • ½ cup milk warmed
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Topping

  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add pumpkin puree, melted butter, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour and knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
  4. For the topping, mix sugar, softened butter, flour, and cinnamon until crumbly.
  5. Divide dough into 8 balls. Flatten slightly and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Top each dough ball with the crumbly topping. Let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
