Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 Eggs beaten
  • 1 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground cloves
  • 1 cup Cream cheese softened

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, sugar, oil, and beaten eggs. Mix well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spread softened cream cheese over the batter. Pour the remaining batter on top.
  6. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
