  • 1 cup Rye Flour
  • 2 tablespoon Molasses
  • 1 tablespoon Instant Yeast
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1.5 cups Warm Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine bread flour, rye flour, molasses, yeast, and salt.
  2. 2. Gradually add warm water and mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. 5. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  6. 6. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape each piece into a bagel.
  7. 7. Bring a pot of water to a boil and boil each bagel for 1 minute on each side.
  8. 8. Place the boiled bagels on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
