Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup colored sprinkles

Instructions 

  1. In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of flour and yeast.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat milk, sugar, butter, and salt until warm.
  3. Add milk mixture to flour mixture; add egg. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds.
  4. Stir in remaining flour to make a soft dough.
  5. Knead on a floured surface until smooth.
  6. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled.
  7. Punch down dough, divide into 16 pieces, shape into balls.
  8. Arrange balls in a greased 9-inch round pan.
  9. Sprinkle with colored sprinkles.
  10. Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
