Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Active dry yeast

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
  2. 2. In a separate bowl, mix the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  3. 3. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
  4. 4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  5. 5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. 6. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). Divide the dough into 8 pieces and roll each into a ball.
  7. 7. Roll each ball into a ¼-inch thick circle. Place on a baking sheet.
  8. 8. Bake for 5-7 minutes until puffed and lightly browned.
