  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk warm
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoon butter melted
  • 2 teaspoon yeast active dry
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Let it sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add the yeast mixture, beaten eggs, and melted butter. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 2 hours or until doubled in size.
  4. 4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Punch down the dough and shape it into a round loaf. Place it in a greased baking pan. Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  5. 5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool before slicing.
