Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 packet Active dry yeast
  • 1 cup Warm water About 110°F
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • ¼ cup Butter Melted
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 large Egg Beaten

Instructions 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let it stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.
  2. Mix in sugar, butter, salt, and egg. Stir in flour, 1 cup at a time, until a soft dough forms.
  3. Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 minutes.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
  5. Punch down dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a roll and place in a greased baking pan.
  6. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
