Ingredients

  • 500 g All-purpose flour
  • 300 ml Water Lukewarm
  • 10 g Salt
  • 7 g Active dry yeast

Instructions 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
  3. Pour the yeast mixture into the flour mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
  5. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  6. Preheat your oven to 220°C (430°F).
  7. Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on a baking sheet or in a Dutch oven.
  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
  9. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
