  • 1 tablespoon Poppy seeds
  • 1 cup Chopped onions Sautéed

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. 2. Add flour, salt, and poppy seeds to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. 5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. 6. Punch down the dough and shape it into a ring. Place it on a baking sheet.
  7. 7. Spread the sautéed onions evenly over the dough ring.
  8. 8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. 9. Let it cool slightly before serving.
