Main Ingredients
- 3 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 packet Active dry yeast
- 1 cup Warm water
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Chopped onions sautéed
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
1. In a mixing bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water and add yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
6. Punch down the dough, mix in sautéed onions, and shape into a loaf. Place in a greased baking pan.
7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.
8. Let cool before slicing.
