Oatmeal Rolls with Honey Butter

- 1 cup Oats old-fashioned
- 2 cups Water boiling
- 2 tablespoon Butter unsalted
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 package Active Dry Yeast
- 4 cups All-Purpose Flour
Honey Butter
- ½ cup Butter softened
- 2 tablespoon Honey
In a large mixing bowl, combine oats and boiling water. Let stand for 10 minutes.
Add butter, honey, and salt to the oat mixture. Stir until butter is melted.
Sprinkle yeast over the mixture and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Add flour gradually, mixing until a soft dough forms. Knead for about 10 minutes until smooth.
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down dough and divide into 12 pieces. Shape into rolls and place on a greased baking sheet.
Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with honey butter.
For honey butter: Mix softened butter and honey until well combined.
