  • 2 cups Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • ¼ cup Honey
  • 1 Egg

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, honey, and egg.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
