- 3 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Instant yeast
- 1 ½ cups Warm milk
- ¼ teaspoon Baking soda
1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
2. Add warm milk and stir until combined. The dough will be sticky.
3. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for about an hour, or until doubled in size.
4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan.
5. Stir the baking soda into 1 tablespoon of warm water and add to the dough. Mix well.
6. Pour the dough into the prepared loaf pan and let it rest for 10 minutes.
7. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped.
8. Let the bread cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
