Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup Multigrain Cereal Mix
  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • 2 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoon Active Dry Yeast

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water and honey. Stir until the honey is dissolved.
  2. 2. Add the yeast to the water and honey mixture. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, until it becomes frothy.
  3. 3. Add the whole wheat flour, multigrain cereal mix, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
  4. 4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  5. 5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
  6. 6. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it in a greased loaf pan.
  7. 7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  8. 8. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
