  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup Fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • 1 packet Active dry yeast

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  3. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Fold in the mozzarella cheese and chopped basil leaves into the dough.
  6. Place the dough on a baking sheet and let it rise for about 20 minutes.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the bread is golden brown.
  8. Let the bread cool before slicing and serving.
