Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 cup Warm Water About 110°F
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil

Instructions 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a roll and place on a greased baking sheet.
  7. Cover the rolls and let rise for another 20 minutes.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
