Khachapuri Cheese Bread Recipe
Khachapuri is a traditional Georgian cheese-filled bread. It's warm, gooey, and absolutely delicious.

Dough
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 0.5 cups Warm water
- 0.5 cups Warm milk
Filling
- 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon Butter, melted
- 1 large Egg for egg wash
1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and sugar.
2. Add olive oil, warm water, and warm milk. Mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let it rest for 1 hour.
4. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
5. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts. Roll each part into a circle.
6. Mix mozzarella and feta cheese together. Place the cheese mixture in the center of each dough circle.
7. Fold the edges of the dough over the cheese, leaving the center open.
8. Brush the edges with egg wash.
9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
10. Remove from the oven and brush with melted butter. Serve warm.
