Italian Bread Bowls Recipe

Bread Dough
- 4 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 packet Active dry yeast
- 1.5 cups Warm water
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
In a separate bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
Add yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture. Stir until combined.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Divide dough into 6 portions. Shape each into a ball and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool before serving.
