  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Anise seeds
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Milk Warm
  • 2 teaspoon Active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. 2. Add sugar, olive oil, and anise seeds to the milk mixture. Stir well.
  3. 3. Gradually add flour and salt to the mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
  4. 4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  5. 5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. 6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. 7. Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it on a baking sheet.
  8. 8. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. 9. Let the bread cool before slicing.
