Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • ¼ cup Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • ¼ cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water and honey. Sprinkle yeast over the top and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add vegetable oil, whole wheat flour, and salt. Mix until combined.
  3. Gradually add all-purpose flour until a soft dough forms. Knead for about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape into rolls and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Cover and let rise for another 20 minutes. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
