Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Warm Milk
- 2 ¼ teaspoon Active Dry Yeast
- ¼ cup Honey
- ¼ cup Butter, melted
- 1 Egg
- 3 ½ cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
Add honey, melted butter, and egg to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape into rolls. Place on a greased baking sheet.
Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Brush with additional melted butter if desired. Serve warm.
