Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ cup Chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, chives, and dill)
  • ½ cup Cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • ¾ cup Cold buttermilk

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the chopped herbs and mix well.
  4. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Pour in the cold buttermilk and stir until just combined.
  6. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently a few times until it comes together.
  7. Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick rectangle and cut out biscuits using a round cutter.
  8. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
