  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped green chiles canned or fresh
  • 12 oz beer any kind
  • ¼ cup melted butter

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the cheese and green chiles to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Pour in the beer and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and drizzle the melted butter on top.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
