Ingredients

  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ cup chopped Kalamata olives
  • ½ cup chopped onions
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions 

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil, mix until dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Punch down dough, knead in olives and onions.
  7. Shape dough into a loaf, place on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
