- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Cornmeal
- ⅔ cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 large Eggs
- ⅓ cup Vegetable oil
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9-inch round baking pan.
In a large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and vegetable oil.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
