Gluten-Free Sourdough Starter Recipe

This is a simple recipe to make your own gluten-free sourdough starter at home.

  • 1 cup Gluten-free flour
  • 1 cup Water Room temperature

Instructions 

  1. Combine the gluten-free flour and water in a glass jar. Stir well with a wooden spoon.
  2. Cover the jar with cheesecloth and secure it with a rubber band. Let it sit at room temperature for 24 hours.
  3. After 24 hours, discard half of the starter and feed it with another 1 cup of gluten-free flour and 1 cup of water. Stir well.
  4. Repeat the feeding process every 24 hours for 5-7 days, until the starter is bubbly and has a pleasant sour smell.
