- 2 cups Gluten-free flour blend
- 1 cup Warm water
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Yeast
In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
Add the gluten-free flour blend, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
Roll each ball into a flat circle using a rolling pin.
Place the circles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 450°F (230°C) for 5-10 minutes or until puffed and golden.
Let the pita bread cool before serving.
