- 500 g Flour
- 250 ml Milk lukewarm
- 75 g Butter softened
- 75 g Sugar
- 1 package Dry yeast
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Egg beaten, for brushing
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
In a separate bowl, dissolve yeast in lukewarm milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
Add the yeast mixture and softened butter to the flour mixture. Knead until smooth.
Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Shape the dough into a pretzel and place it on a baking sheet.
Brush the pretzel with beaten egg.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
