  • 250 ml Milk lukewarm
  • 75 g Butter softened
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 1 package Dry yeast
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 Egg beaten, for brushing

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, dissolve yeast in lukewarm milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and softened butter to the flour mixture. Knead until smooth.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  6. Shape the dough into a pretzel and place it on a baking sheet.
  7. Brush the pretzel with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
