- 500 g Rye flour
- 500 g Wheat flour
- 15 g Salt
- 7 g Dry yeast
- 600 ml Warm water
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rye flour, wheat flour, and salt.
2. Dissolve the dry yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
3. Pour the yeast mixture into the flour mixture and knead until a dough forms.
4. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
5. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
6. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet.
7. Bake for 40 minutes or until the bread sounds hollow when tapped.
8. Let the bread cool before slicing.
