Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Mixed dried fruit
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Butter, melted

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the mixed dried fruit and stir to coat with the flour mixture.
  4. In another bowl, combine the milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
