Ingredients

  • 500 g All-purpose flour
  • 10 g Salt
  • 7 g Active dry yeast
  • 350 ml Warm water
  • 60 ml Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh rosemary chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
  2. 2. In a separate bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the yeast mixture and 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the flour mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
  4. 4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  5. 5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  6. 6. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  7. 7. Punch down the dough and transfer it to a greased baking sheet. Spread it out to fit the sheet.
  8. 8. Use your fingers to make dimples in the dough, then drizzle with the remaining olive oil and sprinkle with rosemary.
  9. 9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
  10. 10. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
